Significantly reduces energy requirements for cooling and heating.

THERMAL
FACADES

EXTERNAL THERMAL INSULATION OF A BUILDING

- Thermal facade has been implemented since the 1960s in Western and Central Europe

- It offers particular flexibility in construction as the thermal insulation material is placed on the outer surface of the building, after the completion of the masonry construction work

- It is the most effective solution for the retroactive thermal insulation of existing buildings

- External thermal insulation is a valuable tool for saving energy and aesthetic upgrading of buildings, which very quickly pays off the cost of its application.

SPECIAL
INSULATIONS

The special requirements of the roofs and the evolution of the materials resulted in the creation of the specific type of insulation. The heat-insulating plates of expanded polystyrene provide thermal insulation and at the same time with their special cutting create the necessary slopes to lead the water to the runoff. This way avoids the use of materials such as concrete that add weight without any thermal insulation benefit. The fiberglass mesh applied on the thermal insulation plates creates a single surface with high resistance to cracking and the waterproofing that follows is placed on a smooth surface without protrusions and unevenness.

Its main advantages are lightweight construction, transpiration and single spreadable waterproofing. A conventional concrete insulation weighs the building with about 240 kg / m2 while this solution only with 15 kg / m2 maximum. In this case, it ensures a reduction in dead loads, thus relieving mainly seismic actions to a large extent. The application of waterproofing spreadable paint creates a single jointless film that seals the building against the most extreme weather conditions.
